Connecting your iRealty account with your Facebook business page is super simple however we recommend you check the following before proceeding:
- You are an administrator of the page
- Your page is connected to a business manager account.
1. Click get started with Facebook
If you’re already logged in to Facebook on your device your last active session will be selected by default.
Please note that while the first step of integrating requires logging into your personal Facebook account this is only used to identify your business page and verify you have permission to use it. No login or personal data is retained by iRealty.
2. Click on continue as “your username”
If the wrong profile is displayed here you may need to select the option to log in to another account.
3. Select the page you want to link
You may have access to several Facebook business pages. If this is the case check off ONLY the page you want to connect and click next.
While you may select multiple pages it is recommended you only integrate one page at a time as there are additional access permissions available in iRealty.
4. Confirm permissions
Both of these permissions are required for you to create and post Facebook ads via the iRealty platform so ensure that both are toggled to active. Click Done to confirm.
5. Finalise your request
You’ve almost completed the integration request. Click OK to return to iRealty.
6. Choose your access permissions and send the request
Before you send your request to connect to your Facebook business page you’ll be given the option to set your access permissions. There are three access settings.
Agent – I am a real estate agent posting to my own business page.
Administrators only – I am an office administrator posting to the office business page.
Shared office – I am an office administrator posting on behalf of several agents.
Select the option that fits your description. Then select “Request access”.
Note: Do not change the auto-filled link before requesting access. This link includes a unique ID to identify the business page.
7. Approve the request in Facebook Business Manager
Depending on your business notification settings you may have received an email containing the request and instructions on how to approve it. The request can also be approved directly from the business profile so Check out our guide on approving the iRealty request through Facebook.
