1. Click on Subscribers…
2. Select the Filters drop-down menu & choose Creat Smart Filter
3. This will open up a smart filters modal. Select your first condition using the drop-down menu.
4. In this case I have selected Groups. Then select an option from the second drop-down menu that appears and search for the Group you would like to include in the third drop down.
In this case the options are is, isn’t, is any of or contains. The items in the second drop-down menu will change depending on your first selection.
5. To add a second condition, simply select the second drop-down menu that appears under your first one.
6. Repeat the same process but with the new information you would like to use to filter your subscribers
In this case I am also filtering based on their actions in the emails I’ve been sending over the past 30 days. If they’ve clicked in the last 30 days AND belong to the group I’ve already added they’ll be included in my filtered list.
7. If you would like to add multiple unrelated conditions simply click AND to change it to OR.
So, if in this example, you would like to send both to everyone in your selected group and to everyone who has clicked in the last 30 days, not just to subscribers who fall under both conditions you would select OR.
