2020 was a year we will all remember. A pandemic, work from home orders and multiple lock downs across the country, it certainly was a year full of the unexpected. 

What we did come to notice though, was the ever increasing adoption and pivot towards digital communication methods across the country. With the restriction of face to face communication, a change in the real estate climate became inevitable and our industry leaders proved that with the use of the right methods, a great result is more than possible. 

With pleasure we announce our 2020 iRealty award winners. These awards highlight the most outstanding digital marketing efforts for the year across four categories: property, campaigns, strategy and lead generation. 

Our team of marketing and client success professionals analysed countless amounts of data and explored many marketing campaigns to select the winners of each category. Each winner has shown an outstanding ability to develop and showcase their core competencies in digital marketing and we’d like to congratulate them on a fantastic 2020.

The strategy: 

Hutton & Hutton have strategically incorporated iRealty across multiple areas of their businesses. From weekly newsletters to targeted investor emails aimed to elicit rental interest from landlords, both their Inner East and Inner North offices are using iRealty to its fullest. 

With 30 campaigns sent and 600+ leads generated in the final 3 months of 2020 alone, it was impossible to ignore their outstanding results. We were so eager to catch up with Peter and Karen to discuss all things marketing and celebrate the fantastic achievement of winning iRealty’s 2020 agency of the year.

  • 55k + reach across 9 campaigns 
  • Generated 27 expressions of interest
The strategy: 

Brad regularly incorporates vendor paid social media campaigns as a part of his marketing strategy. By working with our iRealtyPro team, Brad’s listings are seen and engaged with by highly relevant buyers across social media. The listing was also advertised to a targeted audience via email both as a feature property and in relevant alerts. The property featured in a total of 9 campaigns and reached more than 55 thousand potential buyers. The property has now sold!

The strategy: 

George Brand Avoca Beach has encompassed a hybrid model of working with the iRealtyPro team to develop weekly newsletters and ongoing social media management while each team and agent within the office has access to send their own emails. The office is at the forefront of creativity using iRealty to send campaigns with secret or off market listings to their strong list of local buyers and investors. 

The results: 
  • Over 1500 leads generated (Listing leads and appraisal leads) in the final 90 days of 2020
  • Open rate above 20% 
  • 87 email campaigns in the final quarter of 2020 

We recently caught up with George Brand Avoca Beach Sales Agent, Kathleen Albury. Here is what Kathleen had to say about how iRealty integrates into their business: 

What are you using iRealty for? 

“We use iRealty for everything. As soon as we have new listings plus our newsletters. Pretty much anything we do digitality we use iRealty for.”

“It’s a really easy way to know who to touchbase with and when.”

When discussing being an iRealtyPro client: 

“It’s not just the digital marketing but the content that iRealty helps with. We are all really busy (the agents) so we don’t always have the time to know what to put into our newsletters and marketing so to have iRealty look after that for us makes it really easy to get out.”

Winning campaign of the year for their fortnightly newsletter it is obvious the team at Bees Nees know what local, relevant content is. 

From market update videos, client testimonials, a feature listing to an offer to join their exclusive Facebook group, the fortnightly newsletter takes a step further when real estate content is considered. 

We were excited to catch up with Bees Nees Sales Manager, Rebecca Herbst to congratulate them on their win.

When discussing their content strategy: 

“Our newsletters have always been about providing value and information that is easy to absorb about the local market and area.”

On using iRealty in their marketing strategy:
